Built in 1866 on the site of a 1833 wooden school and repositioned in 1978 the Columbia School pre-dates Florham Park Borough by 33 years. Classes were held here continually until 1914. This building today serves as a museum and meeting hall. It is listed on the National and New Jersey State Registers of Historic Places.
